WMFD Is Looking For A Full-Time MultiMedia Journalist

ONTARIO, OH - WMFD-TV of Mansfield is looking for a unique storyteller for a Full-Time MultiMedia Journalist/Reporter position.

This individual will be responsible for shooting and edit their own video, write stories for web, and on-air broadcast with limited supervision.

Core Responsibilities Include:

⦁ Shoot, edit, write and produce news stories

⦁ Report news stories on camera and conduct interviews

⦁ Care and maintenance of company equipment

⦁ Suggest story ideas

⦁ Be alert of upcoming community events

⦁ Team player

⦁ Video editing knowledge a plus 

⦁ Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

⦁ Excellent writing and editorial judgment

⦁ Must be a self-starter

⦁ Flexible to work different shifts and schedules

⦁ Good organizational skills

⦁ Other job-related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

⦁ Bachelor’s degree preferred

⦁ Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
