Suspects Arrested, Charges Stem From A Search Warrant

ASHLAND, OH - On Wednesday, February 15, 2017, Officers with the US Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task force arrested Christopher Luce (age 39) and Danielle Luce (age 37), both of 173 Lincoln Avenue, Ashland, at a residence in Akron.

The two were first taken to the Summit County jail and then ultimately extradited back to Ashland County.

Both suspects had warrants for their arrest out of the Ashland County Court of Common Pleas for Aggravated Possession of Drugs.

The charges stem from a search warrant executed by the Ashland Police Division and Officers of the METRICH Enforcement Unit at 173 Lincoln Avenue on Friday, February 10, 2017.

Also charged in the investigation was Sharon Parker (age 62) of 173 Lincoln Avenue. She was arrested for Obstruction of Justice.

At 7:18 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2017, officers from the Ashland Police Division, the METRICH Enforcement Unit, and the Ashland Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 173 Lincoln Avenue in the city of Ashland. The investigation and search warrant stemmed from tips within the community regarding criminal activity at that location.

Officers seized suspected crystal methamphetamine, drug abuse instruments, and scheduled prescribed drugs.

Christopher Luce, age 39, and Danielle Luce, age 37, both of 173 Lincoln Avenue, are being sought for questioning at this time as persons of interests in this case.
