SHELBY, OH- 2017 Shelby High School graduate Kennadie Goth accomplished what no athlete before her had ever achieved at the school. The former Whippet earned an incredible 16 letters during her prep career, smashing the previous school record of 12. She did so by not just playing but excelling in four different sports, competing at the varsity level all four years of high school in volleyball, basketball, softball and track.

Goth was a multiple time All-Ohioan in basketball, softball and track, earning All-District honors during her volleyball career. She scored over 1,000 points in hoops, collected over 1,000 digs in vball and ranks third all-time in career stolen bases in the state of Ohio, stealing a school record 61 bases each of the past two seasons. Her athletic talent earned Goth a softball scholarship to Kent State University, although she likely could have played any of her four sports at the collegiate level.

Tuesday afternoon, Goth sat down with Sports Buzz host Brian Skowronski to reflect on her amazing high school career. The Whippets star talks about some of her favorite memories, explains her choice to play softball at the next level, touches on what set her apart from other athletes and tries to explain how she collected a remarkable 16 sports letters.
